Hale Village commended in Haringey Design Awards

Hale Village has received its fourth award this year after being commended in the Haringey Design Awards for Best Place or Landscaping Scheme.

The design awards are one of the main ways Haringey Council seeks to encourage good quality design of buildings and neighbourhoods. The awards recognise excellence in design in developments across the borough – with categories including community buildings, green design, historic, landscape, houses and construction.

Commenting on the award, Michael Polledri, Chairman of Hale Village said, “The accolades for Hale Village just keeping coming in; only last month the judges of London in Bloom said it could be the envy of any major European city.  It is particularly gratifying that the very hard work done by the team has been acknowledged locally at the Haringey Design Awards.”

Already this year, Hale Village’s awards include ‘highly commended’ in the Placemaking Awards, Mixed Use Brownfield Site category, the prestigious Green Flag Award, the mark of a quality green space and Gold and overall winner in the London in Bloom Awards.
